About Me

Hi, I’m the PixieDust Mama — a Disney fan, mom of two, and lifelong lover of all things magic.

My love for Disney started in childhood and has stayed with me to this day.  Now, I travel to Disney a few times a year with my family, on solo trips, and for special events like runDisney race weekends. Whether I’m chasing nostalgia, snacks, or a finish-line photo, Disney has always felt like a place where joy and imagination thrive.

My favorite way to start the day is definitely Mickey Waffles.

Planning a Disney trip can feel overwhelming, especially if it’s your first time navigating Disney trip planning or preparing for a busy runDisney race weekend. As someone who has visited the parks multiple times and participated in runDisney events, I’ve learned a lot along the way about what makes a Disney vacation smoother and more enjoyable. I’m sharing the practical tips, honest advice, and small details I’ve picked up from my own experiences to help you plan with more confidence, avoid common stress points, and focus on creating magical Disney memories.

If you’re getting ready for your first race weekend, you might find my post 2026 Rundisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Recap helpful as you plan your trip.

Here, I share:

  • Disney travel tips and planning advice
  • Event guides and runDisney experiences
  • Tips for visiting Disney with kids while still enjoying it as an adult
  • Disney nostalgia, merch, and lifestyle inspiration

My goal is simple: to help you enjoy Disney in a way that feels fun, doable, and true to you.

A Little More About My Disney Style

I’m especially drawn to:

  • Disney nostalgia (classic rides, music, and memories)
  • runDisney events, including the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend and seasonal events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
  • Planning trips that balance magic, comfort, and real life
  • Proving that Disney isn’t “just for kids” — it’s for anyone who loves it

I don’t believe you need to do everything perfectly or see everything in one trip. Sometimes the most magical moments come from slowing down, soaking it in, and letting yourself enjoy the experience.

My Disney Travels

Most of this travel blog focuses on Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

As this blog grows, I’ll continue sharing detailed experiences from the Disney parks that I visit — what worked, what didn’t, and what I’d do differently next time.  I’m looking forward to visiting Disneyland in Anaheim, California this year!  Disney Tokyo Sea is also definitely on my list!

Final Thought

I don’t plan on growing up — and I don’t think you have to either.

If Disney still makes your heart happy, you’re in the right place.
